Vanity.

by Steven Beesley   Sep 26, 2005

Vanity:

Your displays of excessive pride;
inborn trait of being vain and conceited.
What is this self-love you hold and cherish?
An overblown ego that knows no modesty,
so full of boastfulness.

Filled with amour propre,
your words full of vainglory.
Posturing about like a turkey.
Your self-importance overwhelms,
exaggerated opinions of your own importance.

So grandiloquent an attitude,
such a portentous and pompous person.
Always so full of ominous significance.
Swell headed are you.

Boastfulness in all that you do.
With such inflated views on your own superiority.
Prime characteristics of a narcissistic mind.
A better prima donna we cannot find.
