Across the rippling water
Is a distant place
Where many tales
Have found their base

The peaceful land
Of mountain streams
Bring back a beauty
Beyond all dreams

Folk no longer seen
Live far over there
With twinkling eyes
And shinning hair

Once a year
They gather al around
And in harmony they produce
The most emotive sound

The mice dance
The fairies sing along
Everything entranced
By that beautiful song

Deep love is expressed
Yet not through those words
But in the overall creation
From humans to birds

Anyone who dares listen
