Mirrors Hide the Truth

by dollwithafrown   Sep 26, 2005

Mirrors, they tell us lies
Show us things that are not true
Do you think you're ugly? Think you're fat?
What's the problem? Just be you!

Mirrors, they convert our minds
Make us see something untrue
They show us all the bad stuff
And stop the good things getting through

--

Those shiny, glass objects
That you look in every day
Do they help you feel beautiful?
Or do they just get in the way?

It doesn't matter what you see
The reflection in your eyes
The truth is hidden deep inside you
Buried and disguised
