Walking Contradiction *I changed it*

by Pyrovengance   Sep 26, 2005

OK, I made some changes to my original poem and now I've attempted to turn it into a song. Please tell me what you think.

................................................

The same
yet oh so different everyday
I'm your hypocrite
I'm a walking contradiction
I'm just like you

A puzzle piece
that just wont fit
electrocute?
no chair to sit?
A scream so loud
that isn't heard
A speech that's said
in just one word

The same
yet oh so different everyday
I'm your hypocrite
I'm a walking contradiction
I'm just like you

Old as time
but still so young
Sing the tune
without a tone
A mighty gale
no leaf stirred
Ask of problems
have no concern

The same
yet oh so different everyday
I'm your hypocrite
I'm a walking contradiction
I'm just like you

standing tall
and still I fall
I've tried to hide
and still I call
Hidden in the open
lighting up the dark
holding onto nothing
waiting for the spark
to start a fire that makes me cold
the card's been flipped
and now i fold.

Alike and different
I'm the hypocrite
you're the contradiction
We're the same everyday

I look up at the sky
and see the stars upon the ground
You're standing right in front of me
You're nowhere to be found.
