It Tears You Apart

Cheating leads to suicide,
Thats how that 16 yr. old girl died.

It\'s said that he had torn her apart,
And here is her story from the heart.

One day as Mel was walking
Among the bushes and the trees
No one else was around
Atleast no one that she sees.

Then suddenly she saw him
Walking down the street
Looking at the pavement
And shuffling his feet.

For a moment he looked up
Then quickley looked down
As they past eachother he cast a smile
And then he turned around.

He said \"My name is Mike\"
And she turned to look at him
\"My name is Mel\" she said
Trying not to grin.

They talked for a few minutes
Untill they had to go
He asked her what she was doing Friday night
And she told him \"I don\'t know\"

He looked down at the pavement again
As she stood there in suspense
Then he asked her to the dance that night
While feeling very tense.

From then on out they were together
More in love that you\'ll ever know
Every moment spent together
Seemed to make their love grow.

Then one night he didn\'t show up
In the high school parking lot
She stood there and just asumed
That he probably forgot.

So she started down the the silent road
which now seemed very long
Then unexpectedly
Something went terribley wrong.

She saw Mike walking
Hand in hand with her
She ducked into the shadows
And her eyes began to blurr.

She ran back home
And locked the door
Then ran up to her room
And layed down on the floor.

She grabbed the knife
From under the bed
She cut her arm
And watched as she bled.

She started to feel dizzy
She started to feel weak
She started to run short on breath
Because she had cut way to deep.

Mel died that night of a broken heart
I guess cheating can really tear you apart
