MOM

She was there holding my tiny hand
With tears in her eyes looking at me
She kisses my nose, my lips and my toes
With a smile on her face looking at me

She was with me at my first day of school
Gave me big hug and said she is so proud
She was there during my graduation march
Gave me flowers and said she is so proud

She listens to me and to what I think is right
Tells me that I am wrong but I didn't mind
She advices me that life is what I make it
Tells me to decide rightly but I didn't mind

She never sleeps when I am feeling unwell
With her warm touch I always feel better
She never gave up taking care of the family
With her loving arms we always feel better

She looks so beautiful on my wedding day
Gave me a tight embrace and said I love you
She walks with me as I trail in the church aisle
Gave me a kiss and said my daughter I love you

With a smile on my face I then look at her
I gave her my flowers and tell her I am proud
I told her I am sorry for the times I didn't mind
Her loving arms that make us all feel better
Then I kissed her and said thanks for loving me
"I love you Mom!"
