Slaving around the times,
Trying to make ends meet.
Tying loose knots,
So I can break free eventually.
Cuffed at the limbs,
Mouth taped shut.
I scream to be heard,
Every word blocked.
Keys thrown out the window,
Noway for me to yell now.
Nothing will take the place,
That was left.
Scars listening to the radio,
Change the station; catch a fly.
Sand in my eyes,
Vision blurry, I can't see the sun.
Grasp on my arms,
An imprint so red and deep.
Bloodied knife by your side,
Read to attack me once again.
Magic of the wand,
There are no prisoners.
Out of the hat the rabbit jumps,
He's so free and happy.
No worth in staying around,
If it's going to be like this.
No happiness, or pretty clothes,
I'm stuck in the rags that lay on the floor.
Food scraps fill me up,
I don't complain.
Sleeping on the concrete floor,
Longing for a blanket to cover my wounds.
