No right words

by Ms Stacy   Sep 27, 2005

There's no right words for a time like now, when a country is on the verge of depression, when our guards at home have to have the fear of being shot, and not even step foot off our grounds, when the foreign nations give out donations, to help us in a time of need, yet we stand idly away for a couple of days, when it is their time.
When we fight each other and our future looks weak, not only fighting among the people, but also here today the government plays, seeing whether we should have our Pledge of Allegiance said in schools today.
No bibles do pass threw the schools halls today, as an atheist this shouldn't bother me, but here I stand a girl not a man, and speak my mind freely, don't take our rights, with out them why should we fight, off disease and other enemies, this is not a free land, if I have to make this stand, afraid that my words will be offending, we have our religions and we our rights, America should forever treasure our individuality, but no matter what, even if we put down our foot, empathy will never replace racism.

There are no right words to say these days, without fear of prosecution, and as an atheist I say I will proudly say, "One nation, under God" because it is a pledge to our nation and the flag, merly under the protection of one thought to be larger then us.

Don't wage war among ourselves and support our troops, I love you guys even if there are no right words to assure you this is true.
