Confessions of a prisoner

by Bradley Peter   Sep 27, 2005

Hidden shadows and swallowed pain
desperate to be deceased
wants to walk down death's lane
he needs to be released

took a hit and many after that
he hides away his scars
killed the boy who called him fat
so now he lies behind bars

goes to church to confess his sins
but god won't save his soul
so in he's hand he feels the pins
he now takes Jesus's role

an innocent will take the blame
and will suffer forevermore
the bully thought it was all a game
until death knocked on his door

midnight comes, he takes his life
that poor boy lived life tough
so in his hands he took that knife
that poor boy had enough

hidden shadows and swallowed pain
happy he is deceased
now he walks down death's lane
he finally got released
