You should have listened..

I sit in the corner,
Scratching at my arms,
Staring into nothingness,
I feel so cold and alone.

I've lost my mind,
I'm seeing things that are unreal,
I'm seeing you die,
And me cry..but I wouldn't cry.

Why are my nightmares becoming my reality?
It's scary,
I feel my fear eating me inside.

You're knocking at my door,
Notice the trail of blood on the floor,
You knock again,
No answer.

You feel your fear,
You push open the door,
Notice the puddle of blood by the bed,
There on the bed lays my cold and limp body,
Lifeless.

You try to scream,
But nothing comes out,
You run your hands along my body,
No movement.

You notice the notice covered in blood,
There you faintly read,
" You should have listened to me..."
