And she's still here

by Avrii Monrielle   Sep 27, 2005

I wake up every morning
Get dressed,then go to school
So boring and time-taking
Just to still be cool
I feel like such a dork when
All I have is me
I can take me anywhere
Even out of the country
I now go to middle school
It feels like nothing's left
I hold on to myself
No one else can help
No one hears me thinking
My mind has closed it's door
No one can come in
Without a key
After all that's what its for

Through these years I remain bored to death
But I remain the same
Because I have friends who care
To heaven they're the only one's who came
I'm like a tree with branches
Each one can fall
But oh,someone cares every day
While I just stand tall

I can never become different
Don't dare try to be me
All I know is I'm a girl
And so is she

She's the girl in the mirror
I look at everyday
If I'm sad or missing
I just can't look away
Goodbye,girl
I have to go
I can't stare this long
It will blind me
I stare at her,myself
In that other,unkempt world.
