It makes me so ashamed
To love someone so much
Knowing he'll never feel the same

Who runs up to you when I see you

Who jumps at every moment to talk to you

Who keeps it all inside and regrets it later

But you just don't get it
She opens her eyes
And wishes on every star
That he'll be there beside her
But wishes don't come true
If they do then why ain't I with you
