My Rainbow

Forever is a long time
And time was all I needed
To find what I was looking for
To my lord I pleaded

Let me see the ocean blue
And the meadows green
The orange glow of a flame
For none of these i've seen

i've felt the soft grass 'neath my feet
and the cool breeze on my face
but never have I seen the shades
of this secret place

if for a second I could see
through this endless dark
that moment would last forever
if only in my heart.
