Darkness

Lost inside this emptiness,
Dark as my soul.
And forever falling,
Down through this black hole.

Never ending darkness,
Never see the light.
Even at midday seems like,
The middle of the night.

Stuck in this depression,
Seems like it will never end.
Just a simple girl,
Simply left without a friend.

Locked outside in the dark,
Tears hidden by the rain.
And so this darkness is my shield,
It hides me from my pain.
