your loved one says it isn't real
he just throws you out
like it was nothing
and starts to doubt
the love that y'all had was just something and not everything
how do you deal
with the pain that your love is with someone better
it seems so hard for your heart to heal
and you just keep writing letters
to him, to show what y'all had
even though no one tells you how it hurts so bad
i know you just want to stay with him
and just keep believing that yalls time isn't up
but all i can say is just you got to deal with it
later on, in a different lifetime
he will start to regret
the love he threw away, just don't listen to those sweet little rhymes

move on, before you become the breaker
and just let your heart heal
so that you have enough heart
to love the one thats meant to be
and slowly but surely you will drift apart
and start loving and will love freely
just remember to save your heart
that was meant to be with that special someone
