I walk to-wards the bid black shiny box
telling myself it wasn't true.
As i look into the box
I see you
a flash of happy and sad memories
come to my mind
pretending your just asleep
just dreaming of you being cool
i close my eyes to image you
skating with me and the rest of the group
smiling and filled with laughter
making a clown out of you
eating at McDonald's
those small awesome burgers
having a food fight
then leaving without worries
i open my eyes
see you sleeping
hoping your having an awesome dream
of the times we were all together.
i open my hand to grab your hands;
you're cold, your skin is cold..,
i brought a blanket to keep you warm
to keep you away from the cold.
i walk away with watery eyes
knowing you're safe
up in the sky.
i grab you're board
i skate away
pretending you're busy
your smile ill crave.
