My Love

by cuppycake   Sep 29, 2005

Tick tick
the clock mumbles
time seems as frozen
as my cold forsaken heart,

I'm lying on my bed
my love, oh my sweet love
I'm waiting for you again
forever I'll wait just for you to hold me,

forever doesn't seem that long
because for you I will wait
yes i will wait forever, for you
because you, my love, are worth it,

I'm waiting, still lying here
oh so silently, patiently waiting,
just waiting, just waiting...
I know you'll keep your promise

I'm thinking of you as i always do
your precious memories float in my mind
I crave your prescience
like a starving beast craves a fresh kill,

I'm expecting you, my only love
I know you'll come through that door
I need you so bad i can almost hear your voice
oh your sweet gentile voice,

Tick tick ti-
the clock suddenly stops
my eyes shift for the door to it
but my stagnant mind,
my mind thinks only of you,

Its getting late my darling
and though I am tired
I'll stay awake
thinking only of you, my love,

...my love, i must have dosed
I've just awaken to the door
there was a knock, could it be you my love
could it be you...

no it wasn't you
it was but two soldiers
they say your gone my love
but its not true,

It is a mistake
because i feel you here
your presence holds me
yes my love, they were mistaken

Never leave me my love
never let me go
I know you're here
holding me always

you've kept your promise
you came back
thank you my love,
thank you.

You need to fix the spelling errors but apart from that this was an interesting piece to read, it's sorta like a story. I liked the ending, I thought it was sweet.
