Sugar Coated Smiles

by Emily Andrews   Sep 29, 2005

Sugar coated smile
tastes like baker's chocolate
she counts her sores
she doesn't wanna be herself anymore.

she always falls back
into this feeling
she rather hold her tears
and ears to her own screaming.

she hates her skin
she hates her sin
she hates and hates
and rots within.

she'll chip herself away
into the image they want
1 part emptiness
2 parts plastic
and a dash of disorders

don't forget the drugs and alcohol
and the medically prescribed smiles.
