Enemigo del Dios

by Eden   Sep 29, 2005

I sit here alone
No soul for cheer
Empty and famished
My destiny unclear.
Skinned and naked
I cling to the ground
Insane and crazed
As I spin suddenly around.
Black shadows forming
I can hear their laughs enchant
Ghoulish giggling from deep in my throat
As if I understand...but can't.
Rocking back and forth, I cry
Can't be them...with their dark power...
So, still I sit here alone this night
And try hard not to cower.
Tempted to run, I see the bright sun die
A taller form than all the rest comes to me...
...I wonder why.
Tender, lavender hand skirts my cheek
Glass nails and sharp teeth of pearl make me feel weak.
She told me her name and I rose from the ash.
Reborn like a phoenix and clothed in fire at last.
I rose to the sky; my frustrations poured out
Unearthly, teethgrating screams of pure blood
To all Ears who hear me shout.

When all breath is gone
I fall gently to earth
I finally look like all the dark spirits...
I was given a true rebirth!

Now I must follow the waited coals and ensue what righteousness there is left in the world...
I'll plague the weaknesses of humanity...with my hate-filled wings unfurled.
