Playing snakes and ladders

by Bradley Peter   Sep 29, 2005

You can stoop and stoop again
to pick the ashes from the floor
the reason this happened is you
your the reason there is no more

you tried to do everything in your power
you battled and fought to stay afloat
but you were playing snakes and ladders
that's why you sunk along with the boat

you thought you had the perfect design
so why did your tower crumble and fall
you were oblivious to the world around
for that the punishment is blood in your pool

you thought that systems were go
as you laid in that bed of roses
but destruction was sure to appear
and death would be what it poses

it is so sad to see this has happened
believe i wouldn't wish this on a soul
but happened it has and you must
learn
that playing with lives has its tole
