Finding the words

Sitting here thinking of you
Wondering what your doing and with who
I am trying to find the courage to tell you the truth
That I have fallen so deeply in love with you
and I hope that you love me too

Later that day I see you heading my way
I start to forget what I have been wanting to say
My heart starts pacing almost skipping a beat
I soon start to feel so weak on my feet

Wanting to turn and walk away
Because I can not find the words I want to say
Thinking, as I fumble around
I have to get a hold of myself and try to stand my ground

As I glace around and then finally at you
Bracing for the impact is all I could do
I then remember all the words I wanted to say

Our eyes finally meet and you stop
and stare right back at me
It all felt like a dream, like this was meant to be
Nothing between us but the ground and the sky
Everything disappeared around us and what was left
Was only you and I

You walked up to me and took me in your arms
Gave me a kiss and started pouring on the charm
Told me you loved me from the first moment we met
That this will be one day of many that I will never forget

It was then I told you I have always loved you too
That I was dreaming of this day
and hoping it would come true
You have captured my heart from the very first start
I knew then that we should be together and stop living life apart
