Think Of Me

by candy   Sep 30, 2005

Living on the street
living in a park
day time and in the dark
so many do this everyday
cause they have no place to stay
they can not afford it on there own
even though they wish they could
they have no choice
but to sleep in the cold
trying to keep warm with the blanket they hold
in the summer they live by the water
that is how they take there baths
they do not always have the money to eat good
so they eat out of the trash
people call them a bum
but they cant help it
others are so cold hearted and do not care
they try to live day by day
with a prayer they say
lord give me a place to stay
food and a warm bed to rest my head
it is all I ask for
so when you thing you have nothing more
think of them on the streets
think of me
cause you see that is where I will be
