I sit at the bar
The Keeper knows my poison
I'm a regular here
Everybody knows me
As I light up a cig
A new guy comes in
He sits next to me
when theres clearly more seats in the bar
He flashes a bright smile giving me a wink
I turn my head slightly flashing a smile but not saying anything
The bartender comes over seeing me shiver
He asks for the guys drink and he says he'll have what I am.
The bartender laughs and walks away seeing that I'm clearly not interested in this guy and knows I can get him away
The guy is insistent to start up a conversion
But as he says something I take a big hit off my cig and put it out.
My drink has arrived a triple shot of Jack
The guys sits amazed as I just throw it easily back.
I turn to him as asks my name I reply.
"My names Stacy and my boyfriend is getting out of prison today, if you would scoot over he should be walking in any minute, and don't want him going back for attempted murder."
He takes a drink of his own jack before sitting it down, clearing his throat and saying.
"Whats a pretty girl like you doing with a dangerous man?"
my bartender gives me my other drink and I down that just as fast.
and slapping down a $50, flipping my hair back around my shoulder, and smiling sweetly before replying.
"Honey he just got caught trying, but they'll never find my victims."
