I wrote this one in memory of my mother. short story.. she never had a lic. to drive, but she was so well liked, when the cops in the town we lived acknowledged her driving, they would turn on the siren and intercom her to get out of the drivers seat, take it home mama fannie, her respond would be "I'm on my way"..(smiling) she was loved... by many.. the gift of a mother is priceless, if she is still with you love her with all you got... . hold her and make memories that you can hold on to after she is gone. |
