A possessive Urge

by xEmmax   Oct 1, 2005

I couldn't stop it
I was drowning in the urge
my mind was fixed
heart pumping, my adrenaline surged.

I couldn't fight it
unable to think straight
razor, knife, pin, blade
which would be my fate?

I needed to see the blood
feel the relieving pain
i lost control with blinded eyes
cutting again and again.

It cured my racing heart
distracted my troubled mind
took me to a different world
where hurt is hard to find.

I told you i wouldn't do it
that I'd drop the blade i held
but i was suffocated by the urge
I'm so sorry that i failed.
