I have come to realize
Life is full of many things
People want me to change
And no one tries to accept me for me
I have the few people around me
My friends, your family, a wonderful boyfriend
And out of those three groups
I have one person who loves me for me
Doesn't expect me
To be like everyone else
Loves me, even when you wake up
With my make-up smeared and hair in a mess
The one person
Who I give a special smile to
That no one else sees but him
That person puts a special sparkle in my eye
And a brilliant glow to my smile
He brightens up my day
Even if we get into a fight
Its ok when that happens
Because the next morning we'll be ok again
He's the one person who is always there
There for me to cry on the phone with
When my family has treated you poorly
There for me to laugh with
When he's making fun of me in a loving way
There for me to be mad at
Just because he said the wrong thing
There for me to make everything better
When the rest of the world has left me behind
He tries to encourage me
To do better in school
Get along with people better
And listen to people
To get along with my family
When I see all of that impossible
He's the one person that doesn't try and make me change
Doesn't expect me to be perfect
The only thing he wants me to do
Is to love him the same way he loves me
Hes always cared
Hes the kind of person that never left me side
Even when my parents didnâ??t want us
And hes the one person that loves you for you
He's the reason why i keep going everyday
And I Appreciate him for that
More than any other person in my life
