Have u ever been scared
scared to feel the pain
you blink away the tears
cause you think your being vain

have u ever felt lied to
like they arn't telling you the truth
thats theres something behind that smile
and all you need is proof

life may take your dreams
and turn them upside down
but who's shoulder will you turn too
when your smile turns into a frown

you can fool an audience
the movies will show you that
but you hope the people closest to you
will be able to see right through the act

your eyes might water
but you blink back the tears
you cant face them knowing
for thats your worse fear

your life may not be perfect
your friends may never call
but somethings happen to work out
and you don't always have to be the one to fall.
