Life is death but death isn't life,
life is harsh leading to death,
but death is tranquil,
death is a release,
life is a prison a trap,
to try and force you to pretend,
but never shall I fall,
never shall I die,
my legacy will live forever,
and so shall yours,
my darling

^No offence once again, but I dislike that poem. When you say life is death, but death isnt life..I agree. When you say life is a prison trap, i disagree with you. Life is what you make of it. When you say life makes you pretend..your lying to yourself. You pretend to be someone, or something- not life. You live life to the fullest, not blame your mistakes and uncertainty on Life itself. Legacys are what you make of life..so therefor you whole poem is screwed up. (No offence again) You have multiple meanings in this work. It doesnt make sense. Sorry.

Rhyme isn't important in poetry the slightest bit, sure it helps at times but it is not needed to write great poetry.
