I remember how the feeling was.
Every time I saw you.
Every time I was near you.
Every time you said something.

Forbidden love.
What a strange little word.
I still remember the first time I saw you.
I didn't think anything special.
But I was lonely and I wanted a friend.

So we started talking soon we were friends.
Your were fresh and exciting.
But soon there was something else.
I couldn't stoop thinking about you.
I got jealous when you were with friends.

Every time you talked with someone that I knew liked you. I couldn't understand.
I was so young.
You were my first love.
I didn't even know it.

Until suddenly it hit me.
I loved you. And I guess I still do.
Now we are just friends, but still I get jealous.
I still think about what might have had happened.
Had I just told you.

But I couldn't do it. I couldn't take the risk of losing you.
Your my best friend.
But your also so much more.
You were my first true love.
