The Rejected One

by RainbowSlider   Oct 2, 2005

At last I have found my rain
and I feel so free.
I have never felt so much love
and it feels so good to me.
At last I can be a rainbow
and arch high above the firmament.
I am the promise of another tomorrow.
I feel no sorrow and I feel no pain.
I feel joy, contentment and love.
The sun doesn't blind me
and I can feel its scorching heat
and can take all the warmth in.
I am weathered and long suffering
and the climate doesn't bother me.
Oh, yes, it is uncomfortable, at times,
but I can get out of the weather.
I can last with mother nature
because I am a survivor.
Seasons come and seasons go
and I come and go with them.
I will never reject the love
I have for me.
It is something I can give me freely
and it hurts no one especially me.
I foolishly sought others
to share my love
when all the time I needed love for myself.
I hug myself warmly
and feels the full essence of me.
Today I will send me a flower
and water it with my own rain.
My love feels so good
and it keeps me company.
