Just to be with you

by RainbowSlider   Oct 2, 2005

Just to be with you
that is all I want.
If only in words
then that is enough.
I long for touch
if only in words.
But it is your
words that I want to read
and not mine.
My words only can
say what I want to say.
If no one reads my words
then there is only
me to read them.
Alone with my words
I long to read your words.
Just words can take
loneliness away.
Just words can convey
what the heart wants to say.
A heart that can not talk
has nothing to say to another heart.
It takes the heart time to say
because the heart
is connected to the body.
The heart is connected to the brain
and the brain allows the heart
to say or not to say things.
Time spent with people
is not wasted even if
it is time before people
can be with people.
People decide the time limit
and the right time.
The heart talks and people listen.
If you learn to read people
you can learn what their heart is saying.
Talking heads.
Talking hearts.
All is not talk
but talk must speak.
To talk the talk
and not walk the walk
can lead to one talking
and walking alone.
