We (You and I)

by Anthony   Oct 2, 2005

We were good,
We were bad.
We were happy,
We were sad.
We both laughed,
And we cried.
We were honest,
And we lied.
Then you took my heart away,
And you never gave it back.
You turned my heart from golden,
To the deepest, darkest black.
We stayed foes,
We stayed friends.
We stayed "together
To the end."
We got up,
We went down.
We lived Green,
We died brown.
We said that it was over,
Yet we never split apart.
I still don't understand,
I guess you did have a heart.
When there was nothing left to salvage,
And our relationship was dead,
I told you not to kill yourself,
So you killed me instead...

Damnit! Stop writing more poems then me! It's effing unbelievable!

    My favourite lines were:

"You turned my heart from golden,
    To the deepest, darkest black."

Also the last couple of lines:

"I told you not to kill yourself,
    So you killed me instead."

*slap* That's for being better than me! =)
