MY SON, MY SUN

by kat   Oct 2, 2005

When I go home from work everyday
All worn out and stressed the whole day
My fingers shaking and numbness I feel
My legs all tired so I hold them up still

He will run to me and will hug me tight
As if he didn't sleep beside me last night
He will look at me with his big brown eyes
Smiling at me and all my weariness dies

He is three and he brings us so much joy
Our house piles with clutters from his toys
He loves nursery rhymes and stories at night
We pray together before we shut the light

He is my son, my sun who keeps me going
Each day my love for him keeps on growing
He may not know it but he gives me strength
He shines on me and I feel re-charged again
