Broken Jewel

by Sorefromreality   Oct 2, 2005

Outside my body
i appear whole
but tucked inside
my helpless soul
is a world you don't know
you'll never see it
unless you go
go to my world of horrid thoughts
i swear to you
that you'd be shocked
Shocked to see your perfect little girl
is nothing but an old stained pearl
not a diamond
not a ruby
i tried to tell you
you could've listened to me
you pressured me way too much
now i scream at your touch
For in your cruel glass eyes
i should be an emerald
immune to telling lies
i shriek for help in despair
but you can't hear me
the real me isn't there
now I'm just that old stained pearl
forget it
screw that perfect little girl
you could've been there for me everyday
helping me along the way
but it's too late now
I'm lost in a world where darkness rules
now I'll be another broken jewel

That was sooooo cool. Definetaly 5/5. I think our styles of writing are somewhat alike. You should check mine out (by the way, my name is Heidi too).

That was very deep, dark and nice.
