We'll all be just fine

by Bradley Peter   Oct 2, 2005

I'm certainly not a key piece
just another building block
that isn't to say I'm not important
for i stand solid as a rock

another wheel in the factory
the others with whom I'm connected
it is suited that we perform
for the factory will be effected

as solo rings we all may fall
but linked together as a chain
our weakness becomes our strength
and so there is much to gain

a swimmer all alone
is not much of a show
but joint by the troops
the performance will then grow

my message here was simple
I'm sure you saw it from the start
we are much more powerful together
than when we are torn far apart

so desert the solo missions
joint in the conga line
if we just stick together
I'm sure we'll all be just fine

Just what i needed to hear.
i wish everything was so simpley words
and so complicated that these horrid things would not occur

And just when I thought "You make me fly" was the best poem I've read by you, I see this. The message all in itself was great, but the words you chose to express it were just fantastic. Very impressive.
