Saddness of life

The sadness in my heart
lies deep beneath your eyes
a cold hardened sore that has no where to fly

the hardest breath to take is when i know that your not there
and just come to image a life with all the stares

the deepest sea behold what lies in your heart
the one true surviving soul that will tear us all a part

a truth that will scare you as much as it will for me
the beholding of the sorrow in the deepest of all seas

the words that will define every moment of my life
when you get on one knee and ask me to be your wife

the denial will you receive after all those pain full tears
for i have seen her there in your arms with that glare

the beaming light that reflects off the Sapphire night blue eyes
and as I'm sitting here thinking of all the lies

it all starts spilling out the late night calls
the one you thought i was
is nothing to be at all

i have deceived you in every possible way
now here comes the time for me to go and you to stay

forever will i have the pain of loosing you to all the rest
for no matter what anyone tells you
you were the very best

the best at everything in life's unfolding ways
