As I set here tonight
under the stars so bright
I want to make a wish like this
send me a friend I can count on
one who will care
and always be there
when I need them the most
not long after that you came into my life
you helped me through so much
so I want to take this time to say thank you

to let you know your a special one
cause when I feel I cannot go on
and life gets to hard to face alone
