Next Turn

by KitchBlood   Oct 3, 2005

Blood of black,
on red of night,
in my dreams,
the broken flight,
scaled wings torn,
broken heart burnt,
the path so dark,
and I took a turn,
bad to worse,
and worse to shadow,
tomorrows hopes,
have all shattered,
as all the color,
slips away,
I turn away,
from the light of day.
