She appeared to have everything
She appeared to be happy
But what no one realized was
That in fact her life was crappy

She had beautiful hair
She always smiled
She had a pretty face
And her nails were always perfectly filed

They thought she had everything
Everything and more
They were jealous
And from afar they adored

She pretended nothing was wrong
She was living a lie
They believed her
When inside she wanted to die

When she was home all alone
She would try
Try her very best
Not to break down and cry

But her feelings overwhelmed her
She just wanted it to end
Would her wounds ever heal?
Was there happiness around the bend?

She wasn't patient
She couldn't wait
Was this only temporary?
Or was it just fate?

They never thought shed do it
But she proved them wrong
They now realized
Shed been unhappy all along

They still couldn't believe it
They felt so bad inside
They had no idea
And now their friend had died

They should have known better
If they were really good friends
They should have paid more attention
And maybe I wouldn't be dead..
