Daddy What Do You See?

I wonder what you see,
When you raise that fist.
Do you see that girl you hate,
Do you picture her wrists?

The proof that shows,
All her guilt and pain.
Her own little way,
Of staying sane.

Or do you see her insanity,
That shows every night.
You bring the worst out of her,
Upon every single fight.

Do you think of all the fights,
Do they play over in your head?
Her insanity shows,
With everything you said.

Do you realize what you say,
How they affect her so.
Damaging her heart,
Leaving her alone and low.

Do you see that broken child,
Who is crying out for help.
But all you seem to give,
If those fists that make her yelp.

Can't you hear all her pain,
It's so clear, can't you see.
This girl is so empty,
Daddy can't you see me?
