I wish for an angel with a heart full of love
I wish for an angel to embrace me
Bestow wisdom upon me
Give me the words when I fumble
The strength when I stumble
The love when I crumble
The hope when I fail
Dry these tears caused by others
Make me smile when I’m broken and frail
Open my eyes when I struggle
I wish for an angel
But…
I forgot just one thing
Angels only come to those who are worthy
So if I must walk this path alone I must do so with 1 thing in mind
Strength comes in many forms I will fall and I will hurt there be will pain and circumstances unseen
But the angel I wish for
Is the angel with in my own sole?
The angel I create with every breath I take.
