Holes in the Desert

by Bill Turner   Oct 3, 2005

There are holes to be dug
Well out of sight
Roll them up in the rug
Carry them out at night

The deal went down
People had to pay
No need to frown
It is not your day

You look like a friend
I need a hole for you too
You look like a loose end
Suddenly you turn blue

It is a lonely life
Stone cold killer
Give the others strife
What a thriller

I couldn't quite understand this at first but after reading it twice, I got it now...this part is chilling: "You look like a friend, I need a hole for you too" reminds me of the dark city nights..lol serious write...I love it
