October

by Rachel   Oct 3, 2005

The cold October air,
Feels good against my face,
I take a deep breath,
As I begin to regain strength.
The windy breeze,
Sends chills up my neck,
As I let the coldness,
Take over me,
The fresh crisp atmosphere,
Smells like a new day,
As it awaits for me,
The sun is coming up slowly,
But it gives no warmth,
It's okay though,
because its what I'm getting used to,
Everything getting ready to die,
Just like me,
But on the inside,
WE slowly start to accept,
The harsh treatment,
The freezing cold,
As we sit there waiting,
For it all to be over.
And wait for a fresh beginning,
To start our lives,
And maybe,
Just maybe,
Forget the past,
The painful memories.

How'd I do? Comment/vote(it only takes a sec) and tell me! Thanks a bunch!~Rach:)
