Seventh Birthday

by Love Fallacy   Oct 3, 2005

On this birthday, you turn seven,
As perfect as an angel sent from heaven,
A little girl, but grown up inside,
Never letting any emotions hide,

Very mature and extremely smart,
You also show care and love from the heart,
To have these qualities at this age,
In life now, you've moved up a stage,

Filled inside with beauty and grace,
No one could ever take your place,
My youngest sister, I couldn't ask for more,
She'll be successful, life has so much in store,

I only want what's best for you,
The next things I say are so true,
Please don't let people bring you down,
Take your smile, and replace it with a frown,

Learn from the mistakes that you've made,
And never let any of your memories fade,
Fight for what you believe is right,
And never let your dreams out of sight,

Your still young, so play with your toys,
This is no time to start flirting with boys,
When that time comes, I will be near,
And in those boys, I will strike fear,

Protect you from all the jerks out there,
Who won't show love or even care,
I only want the best for you,
My little sis, taught me more than I ever knew,

You have inspired me in such a special way,
I love you, and happy birthday
