Scars and Tears

Every bruise has a story,
Every scar has it's own tale.
Like a flash from the past,
Or from a time you failed.

A razor to the wrist,
A knife to the skin.
A time of tremendous pain,
Or from when you made a sin.

A scar on the inside,
Will never, ever heal.
Once and a while you'll look at it,
And you'll remember how you feel.

Pain will keep on coming,
It will always linger near.
But hope will return to you,
To whipe away your tears.

    Wow, i really liked that. The emotion can definetly be felt at its strongest. And that last stanza is so sadly beautiful...yet so true. I know what you mean. Beautifully written!
