Mi dad

The stars outside twinkle
as i call your name
I hear coming footsteps
and hope your the 1 to blame

I feel like im being watched
as I look from the corner of my eye
Something or someone is near me
my senses do not lie

I hear a silent whisper
so quiet in my ear
a soft breeze tickles my arm
I know that you are near

I pray everynight that you\'d come back
and be with me once more
I guess God did answer my prayers
but you, i still adore

I cant see you
I can only feel your touch
your whisper haunts me
this is all to much

I love you Dad
I know when youre here
sometimes it just freaks me out
when you whisper in my ear

but i still need you
and i hope that you can see
I love you Dad more than anything
and you mean the world to me
