TIME'S WIND

by Gary Jurechka   Oct 4, 2005

Melting clocks cascade
down waterfall stairs
through the ages of pages
written upon the wind
and the clock's constant ticking
echoing off softly breathing clouds
and I feel death's hound licking
upon my weary, ashen feet
and the haunting wind blows
a deep dark cool fluttering
through the open window
of my mortal soul.

I really admire the imagery in this. Reminded me of Clockwork Orange. No idea why.
    Take care~Holly
