Sorry

by Jessica Roberts   Oct 4, 2005

I'm sorry for everything
i wish you could see
just how much you mean to me
it isn't fair what you put me through
trying to take away my dad
the man i thought i knew
tears come and go
just as your love
ill never know
maybe today you'll say i love you and mean it
maybe you'll be mad at me again cant imagine you not being here
without a dad is something i fear
life is only temporary
but death is final
you said you tried to end it
but the gun jammed
god was watching over you
he saved your life last night
and he will help you throughout your life
maybe now you'll finally realize
how bad your drinking actually is
it isn't fun and games, \anymore
the flashing lights and
sounds of rifles
the came and took you away
i had to watch you being handcuffed
now everything is messed up
our lives are forever changed
because of one bad decision
dad i love you
and i want you too know
I'm sorry
it had to happen this way
