Not so easy

Its not as easy
As you make it sound
To forget this love
That we once found
Now I do understand
I've got no chance
And I understand
Our once love can no longer advance
I have grasped the fact
That there's no 'you and me'
And that you got someone new
And we will never again be
I mean if I could just forget
Believe me I would
And believe it
I wish I could
I don't enjoy loving
Someone who can never be mine
And I want
To just quit trying
But I cant just snap my fingers
And my wish be true
But if I had one wish
It wouldn't be to be with you
Because I want you to be happy
No matter who its with
Weather its with
Your first love or fifth
So my one wish
Would have to be
For you to just
Simply be happy
No matter what that mean
If your happy then so am I
And I do understand
Your refusing just one more try

    Wow that poem soulds like my ex wrote it but I know he didn't cos he cant write that good, he wanted one more chance after I gave him lots but he hurt me to much I had to stop, now sometimes he drives me mad cos he still 'Loves' me, anyways great write keep it up. check out some of mine you might like them.     This is my favorite Matt. I can relate to this poem so much that it hit a soft spot. The flow is excellent and just..everything about it is good in my opinion. 5/5 my friend.
