The rain, again.

by Megha   Oct 4, 2005

I met you after ages today,
without old feeling or emotion,
all anger, all regret washed away,
it just had to rain to mark the occassion.

its always stamped significant times,
good, bad, ugly ones, without fail,
its been the reason for several rhymes,
each time, it told a different tale.

it must stop now that its over,
come rain come, but only pour,
meaninglessly, innocently to cover,
our parched lands, and nothing more.
